Tusk confirms two indexation of pensions

As Donald Tusk assured, the 13th and 14th pensions will be paid in 2024, there are funds for this in the budget. Seniors can also count on double indexation of benefits if the rate exceeds 5%. Inflation. – And this will be the case this year – money is guaranteed for it, said Prime Minister Tusk.

The first indexation will take place on March 1, 2024. The final indexation rate will be known in February, it may be 1-1.5%. The second indexation will take place in September. In this case, benefits may increase by 2%.

There will be a 13th and 14th retirement

Pensioners will also receive additional benefits in the form of 13th and 14th pensions. The “thirteenth” payment will be together with the April pension. Each senior will receive this benefit in the amount of the minimum pension in force from March 1, 2024. It is estimated that it will be PLN 1,771.11 gross.
