Her marriage to Wasowski was not the happiest either. The journalist herself once made an honest confession that she was a victim of domestic violence:

“I had so much strength in me that I didn’t wait – I quickly moved out of his house and divorced him. I was afraid that if he ran away from Poland, I wouldn’t get a divorce. I didn’t want to continue in pain and got a divorce. Yes, I’m divorced from him. guilty verdict – my first husband! After the divorce, we never met and I had no contact with his family. For years, I lived in trauma that I would see him and that he would take revenge,” she confessed.
