BYD Sea Lion 07 features

Designed by Wolfgang Egger, former designer of Audi and Lamborghini, the car attracts attention with its stylish and modern design. The vehicle has headlights similar to BYD Seal and Seal-U, and features hidden door handles, ceiling and rear spoilers and a panoramic roof.

BYD Sea Lion 07 is part of the brand’s new electric sub-brand, the Ocean series. With a length of 4,830 mm, a width of 1,925 mm and a height of 1,620 mm, the car has slightly smaller dimensions than the recently released BYD Song L.

The vehicle, which has three different power transmission options, will have a single engine option of 170 kW and 230 kW , as well as a dual engine option with 160 kW at the front and 230 kW at the rear, for a total power of 390 kW . It is stated that the range, safety and performance of the vehicle, developed based on BYD’s 8-in-1 e-platform 3.0, has been improved at low temperatures.

Since the battery of the vehicle adopts CTB (Cell to Body) installation, the battery top cover is integrated into the floor, increasing the volume usage by 66% and the vertical area by 10 mm. The battery capacity of the car is not yet known.

BYD Sea Lion 07, which weighs between 2,155 and 2,330 kg depending on the configuration, will be available for sale in the first half of the year, estimated at prices between 28,150 and 36,580 dollars .
